A Team-Based Approach to Care

Journey 4 Life Consulting is a multidisciplinary, mission-driven practice grounded in professional expertise and lived experience. Our team is led by a PhD-prepared Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides behavioral health leadership, along with two Master of Business Administration (MBA) professionals and a Master of Public Health (MPH).

This team-based structure allows us to address the whole person, recognizing that well-being is influenced not only by mental health but also by organizational systems, access to resources, environmental stressors, and life circumstances.

Grounded in Experience, United in Purpose

This team-based structure allows us to address the whole person, recognizing that well-being is influenced not only by mental health, but also by organizational systems, access to resources, environmental stressors, and life circumstances.

Our collective experience includes:

Running and managing businesses

Leading teams that advocate for individuals with disabilities

Managing dental and healthcare practices

Overseeing government contracts

Supporting organizations in complex regulatory environments

Managing a rural health clinic

Providing master’s-level supervision

More than 50 years of combined military service

Our credentials also include expertise in psychological trauma, emergency management certification, Project Management Professional (PMP), and Lean Six Sigma. These qualifications enable us to support both people and systems through change in a coordinated, sustainable manner.

What unites our team is not only our credentials, but also our stories. Each of us entered this work after navigating circumstances that once suggested we could not succeed. Those lived experiences shape our trauma-informed approach and fuel our commitment to giving back. We understand—both personally and professionally—that growth is possible without reverting to survival mode.

Working with individuals facing trauma, poverty, and homelessness shaped my belief that every person deserves dignity, respect, and a voice. These early years taught me to listen deeply, advocate relentlessly, and stand beside those society often overlooks.
